Essay Writing
Week Three
It's getting to be that time of year again. STAARs, EOCs, and other final tests are looming, and essays are a big part of all. What's the best way to write a good essay? Let us help!

-
After writing a page, copy it into Google translate. Listen to it and you'll find the mistakes!
-
If you are picking a topic for a paper, pick one that infuriates you. You will be able to rant for hours and the pages will fly by!
-
Read it to others. They and you will be able to find mistakes.
-
Create an outline. On the STAAR/EOC, you may not have time to write a rough draft, but definitely write an outline. Basic examples of outline structure include: intro, body paragraph 1, body paragraph 2, body paragraph 3 (optional), and a conclusion.
Essay Writing may not be fun, but hopefully with these tips, it will be easy. Let us know how your essay turns out!
