Students Crash Into Learning

UME Prep students have spent this year coming up with creative solutions with the never ending problem of homework. While the homework loads have not lightened at all, students have made light of the situation and decided to study in locations that make the work seem easier.

Colt Archer has found that his favorite studying spot is curled up in the corner of the couch. Many others scholars have established fun traditions of how to study. For many of the high school scholars, Starbucks has been deemed the official study location. They have realized that by consuming coffee while trying to memorize facts for different quizzes, tests, and other things have brought not only laughter but also increased bonds within the class.

By simply changing the environment in which they study, students have experienced improvement in their grades.  They have not only learned how to work together as a team, but also learned how to collaborate with each other using different learning dynamics. Some of the teachers have noticed the learning styles and have even changed some of the assignments to assist scholars as they learn together as a team.

This new way of studying has provided great benefits for not only the class, but also teachers.
