UME Preparatory Academy is proud to present their first class of graduating seniors – The Class of 2017!  And although we remaining scholars are excited for them, we are also sad to see them leave.  Graduating senior Jennifer Temminck explained the legacy she hopes to have left behind at UME: “I hope that I would have been able to touch some people at the school in some positive way -- the same way lots of friends have touched me, encouraged me, and given me lots of wisdom this past year.”

A portion of UME’s seniors have been attending the school since it opened in 2012.  These seniors have grown up here, and have seen siblings and other scholars grow and mature.  They have set an example for all the remaining scholars. Senior Stephen McConnell offers his advice, “Don't waste time - you only have so much of it.“  Indeed, the weeks and months have flown by and the end of the school year quickly approaches.

And so there will come a time in every teen’s life when it is the last two weeks of senior year.  A time for joy, excitement, and goodbye tears. For some it will be time to go off college, to experience the change from being a big fish in a small pond to being a small fish in a big pond.  For others it may be the start of a career, starting at the bottom and working their way up the corporate ladder.  But whatever they do, we wish them well.  UME will not be same without you!
