Balloonagram Sales Skyrocket

The Student Government Association (SGA) always tries to find different ways to improve the school. SGA takes pride in the heavy role they play in the school. One of the many ways they help out is through fundraisers, such as Balloonagram sales.

Last year, SGA sold Balloonagrams for the very first time ever. While it was a small success, it was overshadowed by the huge success of this year’s Balloonagram sale.

“We had more than double the orders this year than we had last year!” says Kiersten Pingel, Secretary of SGA, and Lauren Horton, Public Relations Officer.

The massive increase of Balloonagram sales was caused in part by elementary and junior high students being allowed to purchase them this year. With the larger pool of students who could purchase these sweet gifts, it’s no wonder the orders doubled!

Of course, the high schoolers also helped out with the increase in orders, but it came with a catch. Our very own Mr. Trubitt received the biggest bouquet of Balloonagrams we’ve ever seen! All from anonymous sources, of course. “It was really funny to see how many of them he had received!” says Ben Coleman, junior.

The Student Government Association has done it again!
