Women's March

Kentucky Robbery

In late March, three storm chasers died when chasing a dangerous storm in Spur, TX. The three storm chasers were Kelley Williamson, 57, Randy Yarnall, 55, and Corbin Jaeger, 25. Jaeger had been in a different car than Randy and Kelley when right after a live YouTube broadcast had ended, they crashed right into each other at a stop sign when they weren't paying attention. On impact, the three died from the crash. The Texas Department of Public Safety (TDPS) had said it wasn't the storm itself that caused it, but the fact they were both out chasing them in the same area.

"I think it was ironic they died in a car crash when chasing a deadly storm," said Mr. Stallard, "When chasing after a big thing that could kill you, something else did." It had taken police a few hours to arrive at the accident, because many people were leaving Spur, Texas. Yet, they were the ones out and about trying to find this huge storm.

A lot of their families and companies like the Weather Channel were hurt because they knew them well. A GoFundMe campaign ( https://www.gofundme.com/memorial-fund-for-corbin-jaeger ) was made to help fund the costs of Corbin Jaeger's funeral and anything else his family had wanted to do. Trey Greenwood, his friend, and partner in the field to create account because he knew his friend was too young to die from this. They hope to reach a goal of 24.5 thousand dollars for him and his family to make the funeral and occasions that will be needed.

The storm chaser community is a very close-knit group of friends and family who are driven by the same interest for chasing the extreme storms that exist out there.
