Coach Debbie started off playing softball at a young age. With her father being deep into the sport of baseball, what were the odds of her not being introduced to America’s most popular sport?

Coach Debbie started playing softball when she was in the 5th grade in The Little Leagues. She played in the Little Leagues until she was in the 7th grade, once you reach 7th grade you grow out of Little Leagues and get put into the regular older leagues.

 When Coach Debbie graduated high school she decided to go into college for a degree in Physical Education. After several years she stumbled upon UME Preparatory academy. Since she’s been here she has enjoyed every single second of it.

When asked about their thoughts on Coach Debbie, a high school student said, “I’ve had her for Softball last year and I didn’t know anything about that sport, but she helped me out and guided me through the sport, because honestly I was a little afraid of playing, but at the end she showed me all the ropes and how everything works and I turned out to be an all star. She’s literally the best person ever”. 3/6/17
