Praying before a game can be essential to many. It could be the reason that your team wins at the end of the game. It could be the reason you had the best game of your life. It could be the reason your team broke a record. There are many great things or outcomes that could occur.

 

For some schools it could be a traditional thing. For others, it could be optional. The same thing goes for people who pray before games. It’s all about your view on it and how big of a deal it is it to you. Timberlake High school Senior, Desmond Clark proclaims, “Praying

is something I make sure I do before every game. The man above is the only reason I’m able to live the blessed life I do. There’s no better time to thank him before doing what I love. I feel the prayer I [say] gives me the strength and brings out my passion I have for basketball.”

 

This is only one example of someone who deeply feels prayer is needed before his games. Of course, there are people in the world who feel different, and they are entitled to their own opinions. That shouldn’t affect your decision on what you do. You should do what your heart says, that’s what matters the most.
