The wait is finally over! After two years since he dropped his fifth album, "Rise," full time pastor and rapper Trip Lee comes off an expected hiatus with his newest release.
 
On December 9, 2016, Trip Lee released his sixth project, a mixtape, titled "The Waiting Room."

Earlier in November, a surprise single titled "Too Cold" was released and was already received critical acclaim. This song, along with the second single "A Billion Years (feat. Taylor Hill)," shed light on being unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ in a modern way without compromising on what the Bible says.

"On this record," Lee said in an interview with Fuse, I wanted to be real and raw about how difficult life is.” Lee stated that he wanted to create music that not only reflects the state of our country, but also music that we could all relate to.
