Hidden Figures tells the true story of three American heroes whose work remained unknown, until now. However, these three heroes are not exactly who you would think: three African American women working at NASA in 1961!

In 1960s America, African American men and women alike face racial boundaries that prohibit them from advancing in society. However, Mary Jackson, Dorothy Vaughn, and Katherine Johnson cross racial and gender lines to become some of the greatest women in history. Each one must find a way to cross over these lines and reach her own goals to become the ladies of power they have always seen themselves as.

This movie is filled with intense emotion, causing tears and laughter to overflow from every person watching. The triumphs of these three brilliant women are enough to leave you feeling empowered and confident.

The storyline is brilliantly written, giving great insight into the world of the American life in the 1960s. The cast vividly portrayed each character with such strong emotion, it felt as if they were actually the person they played in the movie.

Overall, Hidden Figures is a very heart-warming, amazing movie fit for all the ages.
