Going into the movie theater I sat down expecting to walkout changed mentally and spiritually in every way possible, as others have recorded saying through their experience. The lights went down and everything fell silent, the story has then just begun.

      When leaving the theater, I wasn’t surprised to having walked out a completely different person. The movie went through every single layer of grief a person could possibly feel when losing a loved one.

 

 
            The movie has many controversies against it, most being of its journey to finding yourself through God. Most Christians feel it doesn’t follow it’s true meaning of who god is and how he is represented, but I am going to fight against this controversy and say the movie does a beautiful job of helping one find himself when having fallen into a dark place.

 

I loved how the director used a well-known technique called “show don’t tell” when he represents God through four different pieces of himself, which is another representation in itself because the four different types of people who represent God are different parts of his personality.
