Written by Dark Blue

“Do you know of any good movies out?” You could see The Boss Baby, Kong Island Skull, Power Rangers, Logan, ohhh and Beauty and the Beast!” “Ohhh I heard that was really good!” “Ya let's watch that movie!”

This fantasy/romance movie offers a live-action re-telling of the Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast.  Given that Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 70%, we are to be sure that it will bring a smile to your face. With Emma Watson as Belle, and Dan Stevens as the Beast, it is sure to be a great film. This retelling is the same as the classic. The young prince who is trapped in a spell that imprisoned him in his castle in the form of a hideous beast and can only be freed when he learns to live and is loved in return. He is given an opportunity to find love. He finds his love when Belle arrives at the castle.

You may be asking how different is this remake from the classic? Not very much other than adding more background and information, a longer runtime, and longer songs. In fact all of the songs from the original are featured in this movie, along with some new ones specifically created for this film.

Having already broken the “March box office record with a $174.8 million dollar opening” this movie is sure to  “cross the $400 million global box office threshold.” This movie is also “on its way to join the billion dollar club” as reported by comingsoon.net. Having made the $150 million on opening night the movie is a obvious must see.
