Balancing The School Work Loads

Let's be honest, high school is really tough. From playing sports to taking final exams, balancing all of the work can be strenuous. Opinions differ from person to person on how to handle the colossal workload. According to Kierstan Pingle, “Homework can be difficult, but the best way to handle it is to complete it on the date that it's given rather than wait.”

Staying on top of your homework is key to success in school and balancing your workload. Many, students will procrastinate and wait until the night before to complete work, and this causes high levels of anxiety and stress. Procrastinating is not a smart way to balance your workload, if you instead complete the homework on the date it is given to you then it becomes much easier to balance the high workload.

Sporting events cause quite a conniption for many students. Balancing the workload of homework and sports is one of the most difficult tasks for students. “I usually strive to complete my work before any games start, this way I do not have to stress out and I don’t have to be up super late.” said Senior Kevin Chandlee in a recent interview.

Clearly, there are many options that can help with balancing work. From doing work the day you receive it to completing it prior to your sporting events, there is truly a plethora of options. Some people work better when they procrastinate and so, in all honesty, do what works best for you. In many people’s case, though, balancing work is easier when you stay on top of your work.
